In Honor of Physical Therapy Month! Pediatric PTs In Honor of Physical Therapy Month!
Pediatric PTs do so much more than help babies walk — we support movement, strength, balance, and confidence through play! 🧸✨

We use play-based, evidence-supported strategies to help with:
✅ Tummy time and motor milestones
✅ Rolling, crawling, sitting, standing, and walking
✅ Strength, balance, and coordination
✅ Torticollis and head shape concerns
✅ Delayed milestones or asymmetrical movement patterns
✅ Sensory-motor and postural control
✅ Confidence in gross motor skills for play and learnin

Here’s a quick look at key gross motor milestones (CDC + APTA):
👶 0–6 mo: Lifts head, rolls, reaches for toys
🧎 7–12 mo: Sits, crawls, pulls to stand, first steps
🚶‍♀️ 13–24 mo: Walks, runs, climbs, kicks, jumps!

After 2, we keep building coordination, strength, and motor skills for all the fun things—running, biking, and playing with confidence! 🌈
