What is AAC? 🀍

AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) = all the ways we communicate besides talking (per ASHA).

✨ Used by people of all ages
✨ Can be short-term or lifelong
✨ Supports speechβ€”not replaces it

Examples:
Low-tech: gestures, pointing to pictures/words, drawing, PECS
High-tech: iPad apps or devices that β€œtalk”

πŸ‘‰ Every child deserves a way to be heard.

Have questions or wondering if AAC is right for your child?
Contact aMAYZing Kids for a free consult 🀍

OTs do so much more than handwriting and scissors ✨
Occupational Therapy helps kids build the skills they need to thrive in everyday life β€” from fine motor and visual motor skills to sensory processing, attention, and daily routines.

OTs work on:
β€’ Fine motor skills (grasping, dexterity)
β€’ Visual motor skills (copying, cutting, hand-eye coordination)
β€’ Daily living skills (feeding, dressing, brushing teeth, routines)
β€’ Attention, regulation, and sensory processing

OT helps kids build independence, confidence, and participation in daily life πŸ’›
